My idea for today was to take a photo of the moon… Seems really easy but actually wasn’t just point and shoot. I discovered that for night photography with a tripod, the best photos come from the lowest ISO possible – lesson one! I also discovered that manual focus is way better than auto focus when trying to photograph the moon – lesson two! And last but not least, I discovered that a higher shutter speed is sometimes better than slow at night. This shot was at 1/1000 sec at f/ 5.6 which wasn’t the first setting I tried but yielded the best results. So as you can see, a lot of learning took place on day 135! Great success!
