July 13: Path lights

We are house-sitting in a pretty flash gated community for the next month (while we work on our house) and I went for a wander down to the lake with my camera tonight. I was trying to get the reflections from the houses across the water but it’s a bit windy and the results weren’t so great… I turned around to walk back down the path and thought that this little scene would make a good photo. And the long exposure lit up the scene enough to see the detail in the trees behind so I’m happy with the result šŸ™‚ Day 194 done!

July 10: Down the garden path

This is the path at my parents house and all the cracks are getting filled with moss as it gets damper in winter. I was on the search for a photo today and liked the colours of the moss standing out from the drab greyness of the path. I thought winter would be average for taking photos I’m actually really enjoying it. šŸ™‚ And that’s the shot for day 191!

July 9: Saturday sunrise

I had a massive sleep-in this morning (7:30am) and woke up to this sunrise. So I got Brylee up and ready then grabbed the camera + tripod and ran over the road. I know that you can see my shadow in the bottom and was going to crop it but kinda like it so decided not to… So that’s it for day 190 šŸ™‚

June 26: Walk in the park

This is a little creek that runs into the lake at a gated community our friends live in. I was sitting in their lounge and I saw this and wanted to see what it would look like in HDR so I grabbed my camera and went for a wee wander. I didn’t notice until I got home and got the photos onto the computer how dark the clouds in the background where but I like the contrast between theĀ peacefulĀ foreground and the somewhatĀ foreboding clouds in the background. And that’s the shot for day 176, thanks for stopping by šŸ™‚
